At Nero Performance Coaching we don’t apply a cookie cutter approach. All our programs are specifically tailored to riders achieve their goals. Whether you want to ride your first century or race at the Tour Down Under, we can help you with clear precise training programs to reach your target. We use an online platform “Today’s Plan” to deliver our individual coaching programs to anyone, anywhere. Even at the most basic level we provide coach interaction to ensure coaching programs are adjusted to suit each individual.
We firmly believe the riding experience is here to be shared, even when it comes to our training. Nero Performance Coaching will tap into the Nero community; at all levels you will have access to team rides. This will give you a chance to test yourself against our best riders or even just to ask them questions about their training, techniques or race tactics. We want you to feel part of something more.
At every level our coaches will provide you with daily training programs through our online coaching platform “Today’s Plan”. These programs are specifically tailored to your current riding level, time constraints and goals. Your program helps you be more specific with your training allowing you to use power meters or heart rate monitors to their full potential. Our programs will work with what is best for you in the long term as a rider, rather than just chasing short term gains. While being specific we also want to keep riding enjoyable so we always endeavour to incorporate your rides into a group situation, allowing time for both serious training and riding for pleasure.
With three coaching options, Nero Performance Coaching has something for everyone. We provide affordable individualised coaching, far better than a generic computer spit out. We have done what we can to keep our prices competitive and load our programs full of added extras like strength training advice, tactical advice and mental skill development. See our Coaching Levels here.
Nero Performance Coaches are fully trained, and that does NOT mean a weekend course in coaching. All of our coaches have an in depth knowledge of human physiology and are passionate cyclists themselves. Our coaches are either exercise scientists or physiotherapists who spent years learning about the body's physiology, how to improve it, and how to prevent injury. Advice on injury management and loading from a physiotherapist is combined with information about off-the-bike training techniques, all designed to improve on-the-bike performance.
