Nero KOM is excited to announce Canberra climbing sensation Jay Vine will be joining the squad for the 2019 season. The second half of Jay's 2018 season has been nothing short outstanding with key rides at the Tour Of The King Valley and Tour Of Bright, however it was his performance at the Tour Of Tasmania that marked him as a man to watch.
While Jay's performances on the bike have been building, he made it clear that his desire to ride with hexagons on his jersey was about more than just results: "Nero fosters a team orientated attitude and with a bunch of seasoned NRS signings for 2019 Nero will help me continue to develop as a cyclist."
Vine was also very appreciative of the opportunities afforded to him in 2018 saying "I'd like to thank AMR for taking me on board at the 11th hour after my team from 2017 folded. I have learnt a lot racing with the team this year and had fun doing it."
The signing of Vine only strengthens an already overflowing talent pool of quality riders and strong team characters in the Nero ranks for 2019.
