So whilst Wagga Wagga might have been the start of the "road" season, Mansfield for many of us is the beginning of the "Tour" season. But that probably undervalues the race itself. It has grown and grown in recent years and deserves to be a title in it's own right.
It's a three stage race, but the big change this year is to stage 2 which now finishes up a brutal 20min climb.
This weekend is also a chance to introduce you to some new faces, namely the Vic Squad who'll be doing most of the Victorian Road Series this year.
I hope the VLOG tells the rest of the story, thanks to Al and Dan for shooting most of the footage,. they did a great job considering they were neutral spares for the race.
