EPISODE 158 | MELBOURNE TO WARRNAMBOOL

Episode 158 || SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/2gMWc1t

This is a massive undertaking both on and off the bike, so unfortunately I feel our ability to 'tell' the story of the race was a bit hampered by just how many incident we had. Which I might add is totally my fault, as after King Valley I was heard to say "we don't get mechanicals".

Ok, so the race itself. What an epic, and because there isn't any obvious selection points, it opens it up to a completely unformulated and aggressive style of racing. I was super proud of the way the lads rode (not their haircuts), even with only 5 in the field we made our own mark.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, massive thanks to Dan, Al and Geoff. It is more then just a long day for them, with bottle, food and bike prep before and after the race, I cannot stress the simple fact that we CANNOT do these events without them.

Finally a word on the winner, I don't know Nathan and I'm sure he doesn't know me, but every interaction I've had with him, he's come across as class, both on and off the bike. Well played Nathan.
